Who is responsible
This website, adultacneskincare.com, is the party responsible for the data described below. Questions about it go to privacy@adultacneskincare.com.
What we collect
- Visit counts: the pages you view, the address that sent you here, how long you stay and how far you scroll, the links and buttons you tap, and general device details such as screen size, language and time zone.
- Shelf check picks: the products you tap stay in your own browser. Only the name of the last product you picked travels along in the analysis link if you choose to open it.
- Server records: our host keeps IP addresses, browser types and requested pages for a short time to keep the site secure and working.
How the visit counts are sent
Your browser posts the visit counts to this site's own address, /api/drift. From there they are forwarded to an analytics provider (EU) that stores them in the European Union. Your IP address is passed on so a rough country and city can be worked out; the address itself is not shown to us in reports. A random code in session storage links the pages of one visit and is gone once the tab closes, so two visits cannot be tied together.
If your device is set to a European time zone, nothing is counted until you say yes to the short question at the bottom of the home page.
The analysis link
The "Start my analysis" links pass through adultacneskincare.com/routine-scan and then open acne.today, a separate paid service. The link tells acne.today which site and which button you used, plus your shelf check result if you made one. Photos, answers and payments you give acne.today fall under its own privacy policy.
Why we are allowed to do this
- Visit counts for visitors in the EU: your consent. You can change your answer any time with "Statistics choice" at the foot of the home page.
- Visit counts for other visitors and server records: our legitimate interest in a site that is safe and works well.
- Email you send us: we need it to reply.

How long we keep it
Server records are deleted within 90 days. Emails are kept as long as needed to help you, and no longer than two years.
Who receives data
Only the analytics provider and our host, each with just what it needs for its job. We never sell data.
Your rights
You may ask to see, fix or delete your data, receive a copy, restrict its use or object to it. Email privacy@adultacneskincare.com and you will hear back within four weeks. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
